I started playing in pool leagues again... [Oct. 20th, 2009|04:08 am]
I'm back on the 8-ball league I was in last year, and my team's done pretty good. We're currently 2nd right now, and we had a pretty good week because we went 4-1 today. I played a guy that kinda played similar to the way I did when I was starting out in the leagues, so I just let him make a couple of balls to clear out enough room for me. He was unrated, so my match was a race to 50. In one rack, I got put in a pretty bad position when his captain advised him on a safety he could play, but I played a 3-rail Z-kick style shot and nearly sunk one solid ball I had left...I would've made Efren Reyes proud. ^_^; In the end, it was a rout, 4-0 victory in racks, 56-16 in points.

I started playing Empress CS, and so far, I like it a lot! The Premium Best CD brought back a lot of songs that haven't been in recent IIDX CS versions, like era (step mix) and Abyss (the original one). It doesn't seem to me that the ratings on those songs are that accurate. I think Abyss on Normal (rated 5) should be a 6, easy. I can't seem to find a second 7 that I'm in striking distance of passing, but I'm starting to pass 6s with more regularity. DXY! Normal was one I just passed today, and I remember that song giving me hell in the past.

Tomorrow is...I mean tonight is Nacho Tuesday...looking forward to that. ^_^

Putting an end to the silence on my journal. [Oct. 17th, 2009|08:14 am]

[mood |drained]
[music |SHINee - Ring Ding Dong]

I'm going to start writing on a normal basis, starting with this entry. I hope to post at least no less than every other day. Things have been bottled up for a while, but there's one main reason for it.

Right now, I'm in limbo at work. What I mean by that is that any week could be my last week working for the year. I'll be furloughed, or placed on unpaid leave, until January (I've heard the 10th is the latest they'd keep us in that status). Twice already, I've been told a date that would supposedly be my last, though it's been rescinded (August 28th, and yesterday, October 16th). As of right now, I'll be working until the 23rd.
Now this sounds really bad, but I can collect unemployment during this time. According to my coworkers that took it last year (I didn't due to my claim getting completely screwed up), they received $250/wk, and it's supposedly going to be $275/wk now because of a bill signed by President Obama. If that's true, that's going to be better than trying to get a temp job...but it isn't going to take care of all my bills. Luckily for me, my parents have already told me that they'll help out.

When I was initially told that I could end up not earning any money for 4 months, I got really stressed out. So much that I stopped doing the majority of my physical activity, and I binged on food. I was around 225 when this happened (found out my scale was about 3 pounds off, based on my weigh-in at my doctor's office (223 -> 226)). By the time I started to get back to regular exercise, I'd gained about 10 pounds. That's 5 months of hard work OUT THE WINDOW. That added even more stress, but at that point, I had to tell myself 'if I do nothing, it'll just keep going up'.
My approach towards exercise is a little different this time. I focused on cardio, with minimal strength training...and if I did, I focused on legs. I'm currently doing less cardio (significantly less, but I'm attempting to change that to slightly less, at worst), but more strength training. I only have 2 10 pound dumbbells to work with at the apartment, so I do a set of exercises with those, every other day. On Saturdays, I go to my local Anytime Fitness location and get a more complete workout.

Well, that's all for now...'cause I'm running on just 4 hours of sleep due to waking up at 4. My body won't let me get away with a lack of sleep anymore. -.-

It's been more than a month since my last real post... [Jul. 19th, 2009|06:40 am]
[music |Girls' Generation (SNSD) - Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)]

Starting with Metrocon weekend...I didn't actually do much at Metrocon, since I was only there on Saturday, but it was nice and relaxing...exactly what I needed at the time. I basically just watched the DDR tournament and did a bit of roaming around the convention area. At some point during the night, we were over in a hotel room that Mandy was crashing at. Most of the time, I was hanging out with Ryan, Tyger, Heather, and Hudson, who let us stay at his place for the weekend (thanks Hudson!).

The next weekend, I went down south, but for a different reason than I'd planned. My plan to go play at the US Open warmup tournament fell through due to an inability to practice...the hours the game room had when they opened up in the Student Union were downright awful for me. I had no way to play on a weekday unless I didn't go to work (and there was no way I was gonna make that kind of sacrifice). I also saw what the game room looked like, and man, there's almost no room whatsoever for the table tennis players...and there's only 2 tables, to boot. Eventually, I'm gonna start hitting again.
Now...here's the reason I ended up going down to SoFla: I found out the Nexus was closing down. I'd only been there once, and I really wanted to play some beatmaniaIIDX Empress. Plans were quickly made, and I wound up taking Aaron and Randolph with me. I gotta admit, the lag on the machine made it really frustrating for me, especially since I'm just now good enough to not consider myself a beginner anymore. I never successfully passed Neogenesis Normal (it's a 4). Considering that I've passed Soumatou Hyper before (a 7), I was humiliated when I kept failing it. After a lot of work trying to get used to the lag, I started passing songs I'd normally pass on console, but I was unsuccessful trying to pass any 6. The closest result was my attempt on Sync (I finished with like 72% or something like that). Frustrations on IIDX aside, it was a really fun weekend. I played a good amount of ITG and Pop'n Music, in addition to IIDX. Also, I saw someone that I thought I'd never ever see again, so that was interesting. The ride back to Jax was one of the most entertaining drives I've ever had. It's a good thing Aaron, Randolph, and Heather (who had come with Jarbo, but went back with me since I had extra space) kept me laughing for most of the trip, 'cause it kept me from being sleepy.

Last weekend was the 7-11 Pre-Storm Gathering at Speed Park. I got quite a few games of DDR in, so I was pretty satisfied. It was good to see many of the people there. We went to Ale House afterwards, and had some more fun.

Speaking of Storm, I'm considering entering the Extreme and Supernova 2 tournaments, even though I know I'm just a pushover at this point. Part of it has to do with the qualifiers...I consider myself to be a 'sandbag bar'. It'll be really funny if I send someone to Regular Tech who has absolutely no business being there. With Groove 2001 and Why Not as the qualifiers, it should be really easy to see who's holding back and who isn't.

Ryan got a weight scale a while back, and based on that, I'm near 220 right now. ^___^ I don't know how far off the scale is though...I'll find out when I visit the doctor on Wednesday. As far as my excercise activities are concerned, I still do the walk/jog on the Main and Acosta bridges, and I'm able to run about half the route. The impact on my legs is the main thing keeping me from being able to make further progress though. To address this, I'm now going to back to the gym to workout my legs. I'm also going to start doing the physical therapy excercises that I haven't done in a while.

One more thing before I wrap this post up...Anyone here listen to K-Pop? I started listening to K-Pop after looking at Carl's post quite a while back when he talked about 'Gee', Girls' Generation's big single. Now, I'm getting myself immersed in the K-Pop world.

Life's Great :D [May. 31st, 2009|12:50 am]

[mood |ecstatic]
[music |IIDX09 - e.o.s. / remixed by dj TAKA - e-motion 2003 -romantic extended-]

One month has gone by since Ryan and I moved into our place, and so far, it's been great. We had one huge party that got broken up by the cops (oops... ^_^; ), and several smaller get togethers. The last couple of weeks have been a bit hectic for me, since I've been trying to work DDR back into my schedule (I normally play on Saturday, and a few weeknights after work), have Catan games running 2 days a week (Wednesday night and Sunday from noon onwards), and there was also a lot of water damage to my van (3 or more leaks on the roof x_x ).

Yes, you heard me, I'm playing DDR again now. It's one of my physical activity options now...I try to walk/jog the Main Street and Acosta bridges weekdays during my lunch break (if it doesn't rain), and I just started doing my leg raises...after not doing it for a couple weeks. I'm also trying to work in some sit ups to work on my (pitiful) abs. Hopefully all this will pay off next month when I head down to Coral Springs for the Southern Florida US Open Warm Up Table Tennis tournament. I plan on playing in two tournaments there, and I hope to do well, despite the fact that I haven't played since late April, and can't start again 'til July 11 (the day the game room opens up at the new Student Union). I haven't kept track of my weight since I moved in, but it's probably still around 235. I feel that I'm a much healther 235 though.

I know I'm going to Metrocon, though I could be stuck driving myself if I can't get out of work. I'm not gonna take anyone with me if I have to do that...not after last year. So that means I've gotta figure out how I'm going to get two straight Fridays off (Metrocon is 19-21, SFUSOTT is 27-28, but I need Friday to drive down there). I have to focus on getting the 26th off...it's too important to me. I can work around the 19th.

Last but not least, I took care of my problems concerning the van...and that's because I just bought my first car! ^__^ It's a 2009 Scion xD. I'll have a pic of it up sometime tomorrow.

I have an apartment now! [Apr. 26th, 2009|04:11 pm]

[music |Girls' Generation - Gee]

I'd wanted to move out of my parent's place for a while now, and I finally had a perfect opportunity come up. On Wednesday, Ryan [info]muzicfreak23 and I will move in to the Aventine @ Town Center. ^_^ It's 902/month. Probably a good amount higher than most of you guys would go for in an apartment, but I personally don't think it's a problem. My priority wasn't value, I wanted to live closer to everyone I know and wanted to have the option of either walking or riding a bike when going somewhere.

Filing deadline's today...if you're required to file, and especially if you owe money, that is. [Apr. 15th, 2009|11:05 am]
One of the big highlights to the last two weeks was that my birthday dinner was quite a success. Espeto Steakhouse is absolutely delicious! ^_^ Everyone that was there had a great time, even though a lot of it was at Jason's expense, lol. That place might become my special occasion restaurant. The other highlight was something I totally didn't expect. I went to the LAN party last weekend, but I ended up playing Settlers of Catan for nearly the entire time. It's been a couple years since I got this many games in, and there's about 10-12 people at UNF who know how to play now. I've got every single expansion (Seafarers, Cities & Knights, Traders & Barbarians) and their respective 5-6 player extension packs. Now if only I could get my DDR friends to start playing it...I could probably pull it off now that I can explain the game better.

I decided I'm gonna take a couple of weeks off of table tennis. I'm gonna focus more on my legs and weight after tomorrow (huge potluck at work...kinda hard to not eat ^_^; ). I'm planning on walking across the Main Street Bridge with my ankle weights on. I'm at 6 pounds on both ankles, and hope to get to the full 10 sometime in early July. Running definitely is out of the question with the weights on...my hamstrings got pretty sore last time I did that.

I can now pass Quasar and Sync in Normal (Light7 for the old schoolers) on Beatmania IIDX on a regular basis. Can't quite pass everything at the 5 level though.

That's it for now.

[music |IIDX10 - Risk Junk - One More Lovely]

Gotta work. >.> It sucks when your birthday is the start of peak filing season at the IRS.

Oh well...I'll probably do the same thing I've done the last couple of days. Go to UNF after work and play some IIDX and table tennis. I need to figure out how the hell I passed Quasar at normal (my first level 6 song), 'cause I haven't passed it a second time.

On a positive note, I'm near 230 now. I hope to get under 230 by Saturday...

Al's Life update, part 2 [Mar. 25th, 2009|04:34 am]
[mood |restless]
[music |IIDX12 - DJ Taka - Inazuma]

Two weeks later was Project Storm weekend. I went to Daytona on Thursday night, earlier than almost anyone else that wasn't a local. I just basically chilled at my room the whole night, since everything was pretty much closed by the time I got there.
On Friday, I had Tijuana Flats for the first time, and later headed to Speed Park. I went with a bunch of guys to Ale House, and after that I took Ryan, Jarbo, JD, and Shane over to our room. After getting situated, we headed to Romey's room, chilled, and played some poker...ended up losing to Tyger heads up. >.> I didn't end up sleeping much that night, 'cause while Jarbo was snoring, the rest of us were cracking jokes (In the bizarro world...). I might've gotten two hours in...not sure. We got breakfast before passing out for a bit, and after waking back up it was time to head to Speed Park.
I was the guy in charge of the Guitar Hero III tournament, and it ended up being a low turnout...5 people. I decided to make the tournament a round robin due to the lack of people, and it turned out pretty good. I ended up going back to the room eventually to pass out...apparently long enough that when I woke back up, everyone had gone to Cracker Barrel for dinner. -.- I got there just in time to order my food, but it turned out I shouldn't have...I ended up taking back most of my dinner and someone else's, too. I got back to the hotel and went back to Romey's, then Bumm's room for more poker...and I won this time around, partially because Dolph kept calling out Andy on his bluffs (I won every single hand he bluffed that I stayed in on). After that, it was sleepy time.
Sunday went by pretty fast because someone busted out his Beatmania IIDX and DJ Dao controller, so I spent the majority of the time playing it (at least...attempting to). Once everything was wrapped up at Speed Park, many of us went to Fazoli's and much fun was had. All in all, it was a very good weekend.

I wish I could say the same about Megacon. It started out well. I picked up Sean, Jason, and Ben on Thursday afternoon and we headed to the hotel. I found out that my hotel room was on the 10th floor...a bit unsettling. I ate at Texas de Brazil for dinner, and it was sooooo awesome. I ate so much that I nearly puked. x_x At $60, I needed to get my money's worth though...and I sure did. I spent the majority of Megacon in the video gaming area (no surprise there), playing IIDX and DDR (I guess watching everyone at Storm motivated me to play). On Friday night, I lost my keys...and freaked out. I attempted to find it where I'd lost it the next morning, but to no avail.
Saturday, for the most part was spent trying to resolve the problem (parents ended up driving down Sunday morning to give me the spare), and then trying not to freak out due to the mistake. My stress level was ridiculously high during that time...so much that when one guy I hadn't seen in a while was calling me, and I nearly walked right by him without even acknowledging him. -.- Saturday evening I saw Gareth for the first time in years...god knows how long it was. I went with his group, Tyger, Heather, and Kaze to the Pizza Hut near my hotel for dinner. After that, I went back to my room.
Sunday, my group checked out of the hotel and I got my spare key from my parents. Then we headed to the con and I played more IIDX. On the way back to Jax, I left my cell phone at a 7-11 in Daytona...and freaked out again. I got very lucky though...someone gave it to the attendants there. I ended up driving back down the next morning to pick it up.

Since then, it's been a mixture of work, chillin' with friends, and working out my legs. My weight hasn't changed at all during this time, but I'm hoping it's because I'm gaining muscle in my legs and that it's negating any fat I'm losing. I haven't been to the gym much lately, but I'm going to change that tonight. For the meantime, it's time to get some sleep.

I need to start updating this more... (Al's Life update, part 1) [Mar. 25th, 2009|03:15 am]
[mood |sore]
[music |IIDX12 - DJ Taka - Inazuma]

I don't really know why I haven't updated this in two months...I've had enough time on my hand to actually write entries. I guess the main reason's laziness. *shrug*

Starting with what happened after the last entry...I met up with Josh and Heather at the Nexus and played some Beatmania IIDX. They've got a Distorted machine, and I was pretty psyched! They've also got a Pop'n Music machine but I didn't have a chance to play it before we left. Josh, Heather and I ate some dinner (and it was a bit pricey, but it was really good), and afterwards we all headed back to my hotel...I let them crash at the hotel.
The next day I checked out and headed to the tournament. When I got my morning bracket, I found out I was the worst guy in my group. There was one guy who had a rating that was fairly close to mine, so I thought I'd have a decent chance of playing a good game against him. Unfortunately, that was just not meant to be. I went 0-4 in the morning, and failed to win one set in those matches. >.< Our match results were the basis for our placement in the afternoon division matches, the ones that really counted. Since I was in the last group, and there were only 7 people in the group, we did a 6 match round robin (if there was 10 people, there would've been 2 groups of 5 round robin, with the top 2 advancing to single elimination bracket). I won the first 5 matches, and the last one was against a guy I'd lost to the previous day. I lost again, in 5 sets...but the guy that beat me lost his final match, which put me in a two-way tie at 5-1. I won the head-to-head match, so I ended winning the division! This was the first tournament where I was the division winner. Sure, I was 'the best of the worst', but considering that out of 47 people, I was #41 rating-wise, it wasn't surprising I ended up in the last group.
After leaving the tournament, I stopped by Stuart to eat dinner with Lauren, Josh, Bill, and Joe. Good times were had, especially since it's a group I haven't seen much since both Josh and Lauren left UNF. After that, I headed home, and it was one of the longest drives I'd ever had. I struggled to stay awake once I got past Melbourne, and finally took a 90 minute nap at a rest stop. I eventually got home, but I think it was 3am at that point.

The LAN party was the next event I went to, in early February. I finally had a computer that could handle playing some of the new games, but I ended up spending the majority of the LAN playing DotA. First time I'd been playing it since a couple months after I graduated...and the rustiness showed. Numerous changes have been made to the game since I stopped, so it's taken a while to get back in the swing of things. The LAN itself was kinda like a reunion...several people that went to the LAN parties back in the day showed up, so it was really cool.

More about what's happened lately in a bit.

WTF Al, what are you up to? [Jan. 10th, 2009|04:47 pm]
[mood |happy]

I spent three weeks on unpaid leave from the IRS. During that time, I just kicked back and relaxed. I played table tennis a lot, worked out a bit, started physical therapy on my knee...which is producing good results so far, and hung out with friends. Unfortunately for me, my bank account is now all dried up...virtually. I think I still have just under $2000 in the bank, but I also have a credit card bill for that much. -.-; The majority of my CC bill comes from the computer I just bought ($1100), and two hotels that I booked ($500 combined). As soon as I get my W-2 from the IRS, it's time to collect some money! ^_^

I actually made it through the holiday season without substantially gaining weight! Too bad I didn't lose any... -.- I'm gonna try to get back to speed on that, but it's gonna be potentially hard. I'm trying to get as much overtime as I possibly can so that I can actually go to all 3 things I currently have planned for February (LAN party (6-8), Project Storm (20-22), Megacon (27-Mar. 1). So I gotta find the balance between money and losing weight.

This weekend is the Broward County Table Tennis Tournament weekend. And so far, so good, but I'll get to that in a bit. Things leading up to this was kinda crazy (I thought I'd be taking several people down here with me, but they all changed their mind. It forced me to have to book the second hotel that's listed on my CC bill), but I'm glad I got it all sorted out before I left. The drive down to Hollywood was fairly smooth, thanks to some advice I got from Ali, one of the UNF TTC guys. I took I-95 until I got past the Port St. Lucie area, and then I hopped on the Florida Turnpike. It would've been a fairly fast drive if it wasn't for the fact that traffic on Hollywood Blvd was ridiculous. After I checked into the hotel, I got back in the car and headed back up to Port St. Lucie. I visited Lauren [info]thedelphi and Josh [info]cynicalcleric, and there was a party for three people in their group...Lauren being one of them. It was great to hang out with them for a few hours, since Megacon was the last time I saw either of them. We played a game called Dread Pirate, and Lauren and I teamed up to kicked everyone else's butt. ^_^ Unfortunately, I had to leave, so I could get some sleep and be ready for the table tennis tournament.
Table Tennis Day One )

Alrighty...it's time to head back to the hotel and go to the beach for a bit. Then, it's to the Nexus...and hopefully Josh [info]tygerstyle will be there already. Later people!

With my desktop going to shit, I finally decided to get a new one. I bought a Dell XPS 420 on Black Friday, but it came with no monitor and a Radeon 3450. So I decided to buy an Nvidia 9800GT and a 19" ASUS monitor separately, and I think it's worked out pretty well. Altogether it's about $1200 I spent...a little more than my latest paycheck. I like it so far...it runs pretty smoothly. I just need to fix something with the video card so that I can hopefully run C&C RA3 at a higher level.

I went over to the Jax TTC, which is now located at a Methodist Church near San Jose & University...and pretty much I'm in the same situation I was back in 2002. At UNF, I'm one of the better people there. At the Jax TTC, I'm one of the worst people there. It's a good thing though, 'cause it's easier to improve against better people. There's an Anytime Fitness just a block away, so I can warm myself up there and head over to the TTC ready to go. The only thing that sucks about the TTC is it's only on Saturdays now. It used to be Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This tax season's gonna be interesting. I basically found out that the Economic Stimulus Payment was a 2 year thing, not a 1 year. This is what I mean though...if you weren't eligible to receive the ESP or did not receive the maximum amount, and things changed for you in 2008, you could end up receiving the difference. For example, me: I only got a $300 stimulus payment last year. This year, being my first full year at the IRS, I would be eligible to get $600 under the same rules from the 2007 ESP rules. On the 2008 tax return, this would make me eligible for a $300 Stimulus Recovery Credit. I'll know more details about this in the next week or two.

Well...it's getting late, so I better go to bed now.

Down to 235...it's dropping slowly, but I can live with that. [Dec. 1st, 2008|12:42 am]
[mood |content]

I'm more than 15 pounds lighter than I was before I turned 26, and after losing another 5-10, I'll probably be able to wear my size 38 pants comfortably...I'm sooo looking forward to that day. I've tried a lot of different options, but I felt most comfortable just lowering my meal portions and getting more exercise in. I'm back to playing pool on just Tuesdays because my 8-ball team dissolved. That just means I'll play table tennis 4 days a week now.

Unless something goes wrong, I'm going to these events in the near future: Broward County TT Tournament (Jan 10-11), UNF LAN Party (Feb 6-8), Project Storm (Feb 20-22), Megacon (Feb 27-Mar 1). I'm also planning on moving out of my house within the next year, but a lot of it depends on how close I am to paying off my student loan.

Well, not much else to talk about, so yeah...later.

My confidence in pool is starting to decline...and that match on Tuesday didn't help me one bit. I came to the conclusion that I'm not having fun playing pool right now, and it could be time to make something else my #1 activity for now. I think I'm going to switch back to table tennis.
I played in my first competition in more than 6 years today, at the Jacksonville City Tournament. Things kinda got screwy, and the result was I only got to play 2 matches, but it was enough to make me want to get back in a more serious way...serious enough that I'm considering entering a tournament in Ocala on 11/8. If I do go to this, it'll be my first rated tournament in nearly 7 years.

[music |Mega NRG Man - Express Love]

The last few days have been a bit up and down, but interesting. Saturday, I went to Tilt to play IDVer3, but found out the card reader wasn't there yet...meaning I had to play stock cars. -.- Later on that night, Chris came up from G-Ville, and a bunch of us (Tyger, Jon, Jarbo, Doug, his gf Ashley, Dave, and Chris) went to Mellow Mushroom for dinner. Around 10:50, Chris and I jumped into my van to try to get to Total Wine to buy a bottle of Jager. Turning on to Town Center Parkway from Gate Parkway, I did a powerslide...in the van...with a cop car on the other side of the light. Thank God he had pulled someone over already...he probably would've chased me otherwise. ^_^;; Anyway, we got to Total Wine with 2 minutes to spare. We went back to Mellow Mushroom and chilled with Mel and her roommates for a little while, watching the end of the UF/LSU game at the same time. After that it was back to Tyger's condo to drink up that bottle, Jager Bomb style. I'm pretty sure at least 5 of us had at least one Bomb; I had 2...gotta admit, it doesn't taste as bad as I remember it in the past.
Skipping to Monday, my 8-ball pool match was annoying. I got stuck in a hole early by losing the first 2 games, but I won 4 of the next 5 and won the match. Tuesday, my 9-ball match was a disaster. I only scored 10 points, and didn't score a point for my team. I was in shellshock. Rather than staying at Bankshots, I went to UNF to try to not think about, but it wasn't working...then Alex (one of the girls that's a regular at the Game Room) let me play a game of 8-ball with her. I was a bit surprised, but I'm glad she did that, 'cause I didn't feel as bad about my 9-ball match afterwards (Thanks Alex! ^_^). Then I played some Uno with Ben, Holly and Sarah French (I think that's the names of the first two...I don't really know them that well O_o7 ).
I've been getting antsy at work lately, and mainly because I'm stuck working 12-8:30 and stuck doing Basic Tax Law again...I'm dreading having to explain the Rebate Recovery Credit (aka the 'I Fucked Up and didn't get the Economic Stimulus Payment in 2008' Credit). One weird thing happened today...the last person before my 2nd break was from Compton, and then my first call after the break was from Long Beach. During that break, I was listening to Dr. Dre's 'Nuthin' but a G Thang'... O_o7

On the bright side...

Al gains 164 job exp! $14.24 -> $15.88 \o/

Pretty much, this is how it's been the last 2 or 3 weeks:
Monday: work, then 8-ball pool league
Tuesday: work, then 9-ball pool league
Wednesday: work, then UNF to play table tennis and IIDX
Thursday: work, then more table tennis
Friday: work, then either to UNF or to Tyger's condo
Saturday-Sunday: out and about, doing something outside of the home

I don't expect it to change much 'til the end of the year. I just need to figure out where to fit going to the gym in. I really need to get working on getting rid of the weight, and I need to schedule an appointment with one of the trainers at my local Anytime Fitness so that I can figure out what'd be the best weight training to do.

I'm trying to get to know more people over at UNF, 'cause I only know a few people there really well now. It doesn't help that right now I'm dependent on someone else to check out pool equipment since my ID is no longer usable to check it out. >.>; I don't know how many people would agree with me, but I (still) think my social skills are lacking.
